My words are nowhere near as elegant as those my brain feeds from. But as I believe, we are an insanely complicated mesh of atoms, molecules, and chemicals that interact on each other collaborated in this entity. This agglomeration of mass flexes, bends, and breaks against it's environment. So many different chemicals used in an elaborate catalyst with and against itself, as well as it's surroundings. Emotions are results of chemicals reaction feed through a machine that has been modified, worn, and shaped from it's particular environment through years past. Why do two chemicals turn a certain color or do a certain thing when they are mixed? One must understand this fully, then exponentially so, when dealing with the make up of any large growing organism.
Emotions drive us, they guide us on our course to destiny.
Also this weekend I happened upon a new web-comic, Camp Weedonwantcha by Katie Rice There seems to be a running gag from the comment section referring to a hidden cat throughout each page. This was most likely developed by the parachuted drop box of feral cats. This particular part of the comic explained how the kids have managed to avoid starvation. Personally the random drop box presents the possibility of some sort of kid society experiment. Though the back story of one of the campers, as well the camp name (Wee/don/want/cha), indicates child abandonment.
Overall the artwork reminds me of Flapjack and the storytelling is a bit dark and messed up, like old Nickelodeon cartoons. In any case like Flapjack, Chowder, and Adventure Time I simple suspend disbelief and enjoy the story being told.
